The IWEPNM Kirchberg Winterschool lasts from Saturday afternoon until Friday morning. There is an informal reception on Saturday evening. If you arrive before 8pm on Saturday you can have dinner at the Hotel Sonnalp before the reception. The scientific program starts on Sunday morning and ends on Thursday evening followed by the conference dinner "Bauernbuffet". Departure is on Friday after breakfast.

Attendance
If you would like to apply for participation in the upcoming IWEPNM, use the registration form in the menu. You apply for participation by choosing your preferred accommodation and submitting an abstract before the registration deadline.
Early submission of application is recommended. The number of participants is limited. Applicants submitting a contribution are considered with preference.
Registration
Registration for the IWEPNM starts at the Hotel Sonnalp on Saturday at 5 pm.
Check-in to the rooms starts Saturday at noon. Please go to Hotel Sonnalp first, even if you are accommodated in a nearby place. Please, notify us, if you arrive after 10pm so that we can arrange for your room.
Conference publication
The research discussed at the IWEPNM will be published in a special issue of physica status solidi and other journals by Wiley-VCH. All participants are strongly encouraged to submit a contribution to this issue. Details will be announced at the meeting.
Child care
IWEPNM is a family-friendly meeting that welcomes accompanying persons of all age. We provide child care free of charge during the morning and evening sessions. If you are interested, please add a short note in the "comments/roommate" field in the registration form.
Research lectures and posters
Talks are by invitation only. Invited research lectures are scheduled during morning and evening sessions. Contributed abstracts covering research topics of IWEPNM are scheduled as posters during our dedicated poster sessions. Our conference is known for its lively poster sessions with posters by junior and senior researchers alike.
Tutorial keynote talks: 50 mins plus 10 mins for discussion
Invited talks: 22 mins plus 8 mins for discussion
Poster presentations: Posters should be in portrait format with a maximum height of 150 cm and a maximum width of 100 cm.
